Where can I get a membership good for multiple museums?
I had read awhile ago about someone who had purchased an annual membership that gave them admittance to multiple museums across the US. Does anyone know where that can be purchased? For example, I'd like to go to museums this next year in SF and NYC and pay just one membership fee. Thanks.

- well i know that in the library they gave you free passes to go to the museum because i went there and they gave me a couple of passes to go to the museum free. i dont know if thats wat ur looking for.
- Many museums offer what is called a reciprocal membership. It will allow for free admission to other museums. The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC has reciprocal admission to certain museums (click link, it's a long list) with $60 membership fee: http://www.metmuseum.org/member/me_reciprocal.htm The MOMA also has member ship for $60 and up, but I couldn't find anythign about reciprocal admission, although I figure it's worth a call to them since there is the SFMOMA. http://www.moma.org/support/membership_categories.html Enjoy!
